HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAMME
Hospitalizations in the Oncology Centre OncoHelp take place between: 8:00 – 12:00.
DATA ABOUT THE HOSPITAIZATION
If after the medical examinations it is established that it is necessary for you to follow any kind of oncologic treatment, the first step consists in issuing the Hospitalization Paper, which takes place in the Hospitalization Office.
Hospitalization with insurance:
• continuous hospitalization or hospitalization for one day (once the Medical Record is issued, the hospitalization takes place upon request of the oncologist).
Since a great part of our medical services has not been reimbursed by the District Health Insurance (CJAS), starting with the 18th of July 2011 we are forced to charge co-payment for the hospitalization in the Oncology Centre OncoHelp. For further information please address to the staff at the reception of the OncoMed surgery.
Hospitalization as a paying patient:
• the cost of hospitalization for the patients without insurance is established depending on the recommendations of the doctor who decides the hospitalization together with the financial-accounting service;
The family that wants to spend the night next to the hospitalized patients have to pay a fee for accommodation and menu.
DOCUMENTS THAT ARE NECESSARY FOR THE HOSPITALIZATION
In order for you to be hospitalized in the OncoHelp Oncology Centre, you need to provide the following documents:
1. Reference letter from your family physician,
2. Copy of your ID,
3. Insurance proof:
• pension certificate (copy – not older than 3 month)
OR
• certificate of being employed, with the CJAS certification
• student certificate
• unemployment certificate
• disposition certificate
• certificate of receiving social support from the municipality
MEDICAL VISITS
The specialist makes a daily medical visit. He informs you about your health condition and your treatment. Don't hesitate to ask any question that bothers you!
CONFIDENTIALITY
Informing the family
All the information about your health is confidential. If you consider it necessary, you can designate in writing a person from your family or friends who may have access to the information regarding your health condition.
Informing the family physician
At your request the family physician may have access to the medical record containing your health condition.
VISTING HOURS
For the family and the relatives of the patients that are hospitalized in the OncoHelp centre, the visiting hours are daily between: 16:00-20:00.
After 16:00 the access in the centre is made through the yard. The family and acquaintances are asked to ring the bell on the access door to the yard.
Access in the department outside the visiting hours is strictly forbidden.
SERVICES THAT ARE AVAILABLE IN THE ROOMS
After finishing the hospitalization formalities, you are shown to your room by a nurse, where the entire equipment of the room is introduced to you, as well as the services that are available during your hospitalization.
The rooms
The rooms have 2 or 3 beds, an own bathroom, phone, bedside table and wardrobe.
Meals
The menu consists of 3 meals a day, which are cooked depending on your health condition. If you follow a diet or suffer from allergies to certain preparations, please report it to us. During the treatment it is important to have a balanced diet. If you want to find out more information about what your diet should consist of after your discharge, please address to your doctor.
