The Oncology Centre OncoHelp

On the 1st of October 2009 the Oncology Centre OncoHelp has been inaugurated, to the establishment of which more than 100 sponsors have contributed. The main sponsors were: Avon Cosmetics România, Rotary Club Cetate and Asociaţia Femeilor Antreprenori din România (the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Romania).

The centre has a surface of about 1500 square metres, it consists of 4 floors and has 80 beds. At present this hospital handles more than 600 monthly hospitalizations, while in the year 2010 there were more than 4.000 admissions to hospitalization.

Starting from the 17th of November 2009, the activity in the hospital has taken place in agreement with the District Health Insurance Timiş (CJAS), so that treating all patients is assured, without any discrimination.

The existence of the Oncology Centre OncoHelp is motivated by the incidence of the breast cancer, which is continuously increasing in the Timis district, and it has as a goal to implement medical services that are accessible for all cancer patients.
